NEWS RELEASE: CaCO3 Aragonite Products, Inc. signed a strategic partnership agreement with Ocean Cay Ltd, the supplier of oolitic aragonite. Per the agreement, CaCO3 Aragonite Products, Inc. will serve as the exclusive sales, marketing and distribution partner for Ocean Cay's products.

Oolitic Aragonite - Every day in the warm waters off the western Bahama Bank, carbonate ions combine with calcium to form tiny calcium carbonate particles known as Oolites. Consistently the purest form of naturally occurring calcium carbonate, these isolated deposits of Oolitic Aragonite accumulate in some places for more than 20 miles, and in very specific locations occur in shallow enough water to be harvested commercially. Currently the Bahamian government has granted access to only one of these deposits which is located just south of Bimini. Ocean Cay, is a man-made island specifically constructed in the 1970’s to harvest Oolitic Aragonite from a deposit that exceeds 1 billion tons.
